Flowing, languid, inviting you to sway in a sensual world of dreams and possibility; FIRE is my debut EP. After a decade of musical and personal exploration, I found myself rooting in an eclectic style of music, not only reflecting all the music I myself love, but going beyond into my own true expression. It's music I think is beautiful. It's the music I've been wanting to hear. Each song has its own character, some sensual, some dreamy, and some edgy and driving, yet when I listen to this work, time slows as I am wrapped in a thick, warm blanket of sounds and love. And I feel still and fulfilled.

This EP in particular could be classified as downtempo, art pop, and adult contemporary, with a couple sprinkles of ambient and electronica mixed in. If Enya, Joni Mitchell, and Zero 7 had a baby together, this might be it. The songs 'Icarus' with its folky feel and 'Fire' with its downtempo vibe pay homage to the classic song. 'King' and 'Mountain' venture into the space of art-experimental ambient song-scapes. 'Body' and 'Deja Vu' round the EP out with their sensual jazzy grooves, reminiscent of 90s R&B.

For me this album marks a special moment in my own musical and creative journey. Fire is a turning point. I've stopped hiding and have started singing my soul. This is the first time I have been able to make music expressing my voice - not striving to fit into a mold of what I think the world wants or what I think the industry wants. Just me and what I made at this point in time. And I'm proud of this beautiful music baby. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
